TheMarker Com.Vention 2008 - Day 1 Roundup
Hi Everyone,
Today I attended the Com.Vention held by TheMarker, it took place at Avenue in Airport City in Israel.

The day started with opening remarks from Craig from Craigslist.org - It was most enjoyable and Craig is a really nice guy. Craig, who currently is in charge of customer relations revealed that Craigslist have no plans on selling or an IPO - later in the day he also revealed that their company is valued around the 5 billion dollar mark.
After the opening notes I enjoyed a presentation “The death of Page Views” given by Yosi Taguri of NuConomy - It was most entertaining and interesting - I plan on using their Analytics software and new way of looking at ‘Actions’ and ‘Engagement’ on our web 2.0 websites. Here are some pics of Yosi and their software, you can also sign up for a free Beta on their website - when its running for a while I give you all a full review and more in depth analysis on the software.

Some other mentions from the event.
- Web 2.0 Business Modules Panel with Rachel Masters of Ning Itzik Cohen of Clipsync, Cathy Brooks of seesmic
- PLYmedia (very cool, plan to use in Bukisa) also winners of TheMarker’s and Microsoft’s most promising startup for 2008.
- Cool MacBooks and my first touch of the MacAir at iDigitals Mac stand.
- Lunch with some CWM friends new and former.

- Incredimail’s Ofer Adler gave a talk on viral Marketing via Email.
Here some pics of me so you can get to know me …
